Astrology Disclaimer
Effective 4 October 2026
Astrobserve shows what classical Vedic texts say about a chart. Vedic astrology is a traditional system of belief, not a science, and its statements are not proven predictions. Read them for study and reflection, never as instructions.
What the readings are
The readings are translations and paraphrases of Sanskrit verses (such as Phaladeepika and the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra) and of the books that explain them. Each rule was written to be weighed with the whole chart in view. A single line, read on its own, can say the opposite of another; that is how the texts work, not a fault in your chart. Where Astrobserve gives its own reading, it says so.
What they are not
- Not medical or psychological advice. Readings about health, illness, longevity, accidents or the mind describe what old texts say. They are not a diagnosis or a forecast. See a doctor for any health concern, and seek help from a qualified professional or a helpline if you are in distress.
- Not financial or legal advice. Do not invest, borrow, sign or go to court on the strength of a reading.
- Not a basis for marriage decisions on their own. Guna Milan scores, Manglik dosha and other compatibility results are traditional measures. A low score or a dosha does not mean a marriage will fail, and a high score does not mean it will succeed.
- Not a guarantee about events or timing. Dasha and transit dates show when the texts expect a theme, not what will happen.
- Gemstones are traditional associations, not a treatment. Wearing one is a personal choice, at your own risk.
The calculations
Positions are computed from published astronomical theories and checked against NASA JPL’s ephemeris. They are only as good as the birth details entered: a birth time off by a few minutes can change the ascendant, the houses and the dasha dates. Different traditions and software use different conventions, so another program may give different results. Mistakes are possible; if you find one, please tell us through Help.
